Notes on the show I saw tonight.

That was... an AWESOME play. I am ... flabbergasted. I'm a bit sad, because the guy playing "Nick" (who was a slime ball.... ironic?) was played by the understudy, and broke... 4 times. But covered it really well, I think it was SUPER WENCH the STAGE MANAGER who noticed the breaks, not the everyday average theatre goer.

We got spare tickets from David, because some chick didn't show to get em, so Cynthia drove into LA to see it.

(Note to self, next time someone asks you to drive, murder them, steal their ticket and have mom drive you in. Never atempt that drive again...)

We get there, eat, and chillax.

Our seats were in the top balcony, row 3, on the EDGE. Sightlines SUCKED! A majority of the show was played where I could see it, but I missed the man breaking a bottle, kissing, and a drunken lady. > . >

I rented binoculars (how blind do I feel) and will now be taking them with me to every show I go to. I could actually SEE their faces! OH EM GEE! And since unless someone buys them for me, my tickets are going to be hard core cheapies I'll need em.

I am still confused about the actual show though. I mean. I followed it alright, and it was REALLY well written (I LOVED the bit about history/biology) but the end kinda.. confused me. I'mma go to B&N tomorrow and read it. :P Maybe if I read it, as the SM I am I'll get the ending.

All in all, I'm glad I blew off seeing people tonight, to go into LA and see a great show.

:P Now I'm off to contemplate why the HELL the lady two rows down (out of hitting range) decided to put her program to the side of her head, half way through act three, and block all of stage right at a pivital moment. *seeths*
